Docent 03:24
I hold no point of view And I’ve been lacking something new I just need a guide I need a decent docent to walk me through life Maybe no one holds the path And my potential’s left untapped The plan’s in disarray I need a decent docent to show me my way If the foggy road was clear Earth was circle, not a sphere It wouldn’t matter what occurs Will you be my docent or can I be yours?

I’ve only found Nothing ever goes right The first time around And there’s no progress in sight My feet touch ground yet my instinct’s to crawl It’s protocol I guess I know it’s not too smart to compare but My hand is forced because I’m trailing the field How can I prove that I am more than a haircut? How do I know when my fate has been sealed? And as the debt gets bigger A deeper part of me gets the picture Meanwhile the gap grows wider I sacrifice my moral fiber Sometimes, sometimes you have to pull the lever I missed my cue but better late than never I cannot call myself a finished product I stare at the clock and wonder when I’ll be whole How could I possibly defend all my conduct? How long should I relinquish control? And as the debt gets bigger A deeper part of me gets the picture Meanwhile the gap grows wider I sacrifice my moral fiber Sometimes, sometimes you have to clip the tether I missed my cue but better late than never As the divide gets longer I wonder what feats I still could conquer Meanwhile the wall grows higher My shoulder angel’s a big fat liar Sometimes, sometimes you must ignore the tremor I took some time but better late than never

Mole 05:42
Dawn breaks There’s no one around me There’s no one I tell what I’ve seen Gadzooks They’re in cahoots Our foes found a go-between We’re so obtuse A turncoat’s been set loose And we’re just here twiddling our thumbs With a sleight of hand The chain of command Bumbles as it succumbs We’re still here by God’s grace But another one eats their gun to escape The buzzwords, the hot takes Another one comes undone on the front page Ride the brakes, ride the brakes Modern evil changes the stakes We still make the same mistake Trust the inkling And don’t play favorites The ground is sinking The walls are caving in There’s been a leak And we have something concrete But the answer’s encased in glass Egad! Maybe the intel was bad They’re betting with fiat cash We’re still here by God’s grace But another one eats their gun to escape The buzzwords, the hot takes Another one comes undone on the front page Ride the brakes, ride the brakes Modern evil changes the stakes We still make the same mistake Now a mole has infiltrated the place Ride the brakes, ride the brakes Modern evil changes the stakes Ride the brakes, ride the brakes Modern evil changes the stakes Modern evil changes the stakes Modern evil changes the stakes

Luckily I lost my sentience today My hinges loosen, the edge melts away I am still flying, just not in the sky ‘Cause I found a new way to get high If Rome is burning it’s nobody’s fault A running start comes to a screeching halt Things are okay ‘cause there’s nowhere to run They found a new hole on the sun If you’re lost in the shuffle, I’m crossing the picket line A customized way to die If you seek a new kind of buzz Find finer designer drugs Find a new way to get high Conjure a wish from a fallen eyelash Just flip a switch and you’ll find a match Closer inspection just muddles the path So find a new way to detach If you’re lost in the shuffle I'm past the horizon line A paradise you can buy If you seek a new kind of buzz Find the designer drugs Find a new way to get high Find a new way to get high
